Is Sīla Global an Australian company?
Yes we are. Established in Melbourne in 2018 and now based in FNQ. We work on projects nationally and are happy to meet with you to discuss your project requirements.

How are the steel shop drawings created?
We use a variety of BIM/CAD software packages. Primarily Tekla Structures. Tekla is the industry leading 3D Modelling BIM software that is very powerful when combined with our teams local building and construction experience and engineering knowledge.

What type of projects do you work on?
We are experienced in residential, commercial and industrial projects. Specialists in high-end residential and commercial projects that are architecturally demanding.

When should I engage a structural steel detailer?
As soon as the architectural and structural design drawings are available.
Early engagement will allow preparation of documents to assist with quoting and finding a fabricator as well as identify any potential design issues to avoid delays and unnecessary costs.
